This course covers basic rehabilitation principles for recovering injured and orphaned songbirds with the goal of releasing them back into the wild as healthy individuals.  The course emphasizes critical information needed to successfully rehabilitate these species for release, including natural history, general care, proper nutrition, hand-feeding techniques, housing, pre-release conditioning, and more.
