This on-demand course is designed for use in the classroom, specifically for grades 3-7. The self-paced classroom course offers an in-depth focus on owls; the course focuses on a variety of owl species that live around the world, with an emphasis on owls living in North America. Students will learn about the physical and behavioral adaptations of owls, habitat requirements, and ecological threats to owls. The course offers a variety of learning elements, including videos, PowerPoint lectures, printable worksheets, activities, and additional resources to give teachers and students a well-rounded educational experience.
